But this is how serious this was:
- This practice event was FOUR HOURS LONG. For real. From 5:00 pm- 9:00pm.
- Even at this practice, they still went all out and had people in costumes, mascots, flag people, streamers shooting out of cannons, smoke, and pyrotechnics. Yes: there was pyrotechnics. And this isn't even the real deal yet.
Here are some videos because words can't really do this event justice:
They gave us all bags for an additional cheering method lol.
This video is a little later on, so the stadium is more full. Notice the pyrotechnics at the very beginning.
So I guess you could say it was pretty crazy. I don't really know the songs yet, but the dances are easy to catch on to. My camera didn't really pick up on the sound, but it was so noisy in the stadium because everyone was yelling and singing. I give their school spirit an A+.

Here is also a picture of some food I ate in Myeongdong on the weekend. This is a mandu (dumpling) soup with the side dishes (left to right: kimchi, a sort of turnip with sauce (?), and some other sauce to add to the soup). It was SUPER YUMMY.

So yeah. Hope you all are doing well too! I heard the 'Peg just got a bunch of snow. That's too bad. It was sunny and like +7 here. Not that I'm bragging or anything. :P
Sounds crazy! I don't know if its just my computer but the videos don't play. They just say "This Video is Private".
ReplyDeleteHm, I will update the post and then hopefully the videos will work after!
DeleteWow that sounds intense! I can't wait to see you do a demonstration of this dance...
ReplyDeleteI'll teach you once I learn the songs lol
